Oddio....ma ke è sta kosa stupendissima ke ho trovato???? voglio far eun corso al riguardo, voglio diventare "Mastra vetraia"....anke se con i vetri nn ho un ottimo rapporto!!!

Lamp work can be used to create different types of art works like Trinkets, Curios, Christmas tree, and any figure that you can imagine. Lampworking can also be used to create several scientific equipments and also glass models of animals and Botanical models.
What is Lampworking?
Lampworking is a practice of using gas fueled torch to melt the rods or tubes of clear or colored glass. The art is also known as Flameworking or Torchworking, but as the modern practices do not use Oil Fueled lamps it is no more called the same.
How to create a Figure using lampworking?
Lampworker uses this torch to melt the glass rod. Once the glass rod in semi solid state or a molten state it is formed by blowing and shaping with different tools and hand movements.
Lampwork Beads:
These beads are made of glass. Glass can be used in various forms because of its properties. They can be poured into molds, cut and polished into faux gemstone or they can also be stretched and pulled in to any shape.
How Lampwork Beads are made?
Initially, a Lampworker needs to melt narrow rods of glass and wound it around a mandrel, Mandrel is a thin length of stainless steel. At removing a Mandrel the space occupied by it becomes a hole through the bead.
Turning the mandrel in different positions helps Lampworker to get different shapes out of the glass. But this thing is not simple. It takes good amount of time to learn and needs lot of practice to become an expert. They also need to understand the glass and the heat it will take to be in semi-molten state. They also need to have a good understanding of decorative elements to be fixed with the glass and how different colors of glass will interact with each other. Crafts person can also create fine lines with the help of tiny glass rods. They also use beads to create floral designs with bumps of beads on the surface or into the center. Multiple layers of glass can also be used with different colors to make it look more attractive.
Caution to be taken while making a Bead:
When a bead is brought out of the flame, the entire bead is at high temperature. Once it comes in contact with the air, the outer surface of the bead starts solidifying leaving the inner surface still burning hot. Due to this, a bead often cracks. To prevent this, after removing the bead from the flame, the temperature is closely monitored and regulated. While forming a bead, a craftsman needs to heat a bead evenly to make sure that the glass is evenly heated and then the temperature of the bead is slowly reduced to bring it to the room temperature. However, this process may take several hours.

alla velocità della luce!
Caro blog,
è davvero strabiliante che gli omini alla destra del post, segnalino come data attuale 24 agosto!
Incomprensibile....impensabile ke sono iniziate e già finite le tante agognate ferie, c'è ki fino allo scorso post c'era, e ki adesso non c'è +, ne sono successe di cose in questi mesi...
Non credevo ke tanti giorni potessero passare kosì velocemente...
Ad aprire le danze il mini-ma-intenso viaggio nella mia Madrid...sempre troppo breve! quant'è bella Madrid ;-) quanto sono belle e speciali le persone con cui ci sono andata!!!
I giorni successivi, a gallipoli, sono stati bellissimi, kome al solito fatti di tanto mare, sole, pappa, nanna, passeggiate e piccoli acquisti e poco più.....e via.... + lontani possibile i brutti ricordi e i brutti pensieri, di ki ci vuole male o di ki ha subito del male...ekkoli svanire lentamente ad ogni tuffo limpido e cristallino, come la bellezza e la limpidezza di un'anima dalla coscienza a posto.
Dopo di chè...neanke il tempo di rifare la valigia, ed eccomi riprendere altri 4 aerei e lanciarmi con Fabio nella nostra avventuara portoghese, ricca di pasteis de nata, del fado di Cristina Madeira, dei folli taxy, delle aragoste e granchi, dei bagni a Cascais, dell'incanto di Sintra, del tram 28, dei Miradouros, della torre di Belem, e l'oscenario, e sandra, e la brasileira, e il monastero dos geronimos...e quante altre belle kose!!!! ;-)
ed eccoci qui, il malinconico rientro, ancora in un silenzio surreale, un silenzio ke sembra preannunciare la tempesta...forse una tempesta fittizia, forse una tempesta vera...quella dei sogni ke si infrangono su una triste relatà, ma ben + rosea di tante altre situazioni ben peggiori della mia. I sogni però non muoiono mai, persistono sempre, e al primo vento prendono fuoko kome le flebili fiamme ke nei falò aspettano il colpo di vento giusto per prendere la retta via...anke io aspetto il colpo di vento giusto, ma nel frattempo mi godo + ke posso tutto quello ke ho....ed è tantissimo!
